What this Notice covers

The Company is committed to protecting the privacy and security of your personal information.

This Privacy Notice describes how we collect and use personal information about you during and after your working relationship with us, in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and data protection legislation.

Categories of personal data we process

We store the following personal data as given direct from you (Our Customer):

  • Your name and title
  • Your billing address and site address where furniture is to be delivered and fitted
  • Your telephone number
  • Your email address
  • Personal data relating to financial transaction, all of which will be handled compliant with payment card related regulations.

Sources of personal data

All personal information we obtain is given directly to us from you (our Customer).

Our lawful basis for processing your data

We will use your personal information in the following circumstances:

  • Where we need to perform the contract we have entered into with you.
  • Where we need to comply with a legal obligation as part of our warranty terms and conditions
  • Where it is necessary for legitimate interests to use a third party in the sense of a contractor, with prior notice given to and consented by you

How we may use your personal information

We may use your personal information in the following ways:

  • To provide our goods and services
  • To maintain your account
  • To recover any payments due to us and where necessary to enforce such recovery through the engagement of debt collection/legal action
  • To share site address details with relevant third parties (contractor) with your prior consent, when appropriate to complete our commitment to the services provided to you

Who has access to your data

Access to your data is limited to employees and contractors as required to carry out our commitment to the contract with you.

We require all parties to respect the security of your data and to treat it in accordance with the law.

Security of your data

We have put in place appropriate security measures to prevent your personal information from being accidentally lost, used or accessed in an unauthorised way, altered or disclosed. In addition, we limit access to your personal information to those employees and contractors who have a business need to know.

How we decide how long to retain your data

We will only retain your personal information for as long as necessary to fulfil the contractual obligation, including for the purposes of satisfying the warranty period, any legal, accounting requirements.

Where your personal information is no longer required we will ensure it is securely deleted.

Your rights

Data protection laws give you the rights in relation to the personal information we hold about you, which may include the right to require us to:

  • Provide you with further details on the personal information we hold about you
  • Update any inaccuracies of the personal information that we hold about you
  • Request erasure of your personal information
  • Object to processing of your personal information where we are relying on a legitimate interest (or those of a third party) and there is something about your particular situation which makes you want to object to processing on this ground.

If you believe the Company has not complied with your rights, you can complain to the Office Manager.

Changes to this Privacy Notice

The Company reserves the right to update this privacy notice at any time, and we will provide you with a new privacy notice when we make any substantial updates. We may also notify you in other ways from time to time about the processing of your personal information.
